This study investigates first-year students’ perceptions of podcasts as tools for
improving English listening skills at Thang Long University. Using a mixed -methods
approach, with a sample size of 100 respondents for the survey questionnaires and 15 first-
year students in the structured interview, the research captures both qu antitative findings
to provide a comprehensive understanding of students’ experiences.
