  • The article explores how to build and perfect a short agricultural supply chain model in Vietnam as well as the behavior of buyers via social networks regarding the short supply chain model. Data was collected from a survey of 100 samples including farmer households and 402 samples from consumers. The article uses the Structural Equation Model to analyze sthe impact of factors on product consumption behavior in the short supply chain of agricultural products.   • This study examines the contribution of absorptive capacity to the relationship between FDI spillover effects and firm-level green total factor productivity (GTFP) using the Malmquist-Luenberger productivity firm-level data from annual enterprise surveys in Vietnam’s manufacturing and processing industries from 2013 to 2019, the study found that absorptive capacity had an important mediating role in amplifying the beneficial effects of FDI spillover. The magnitude of horizontal FDI spillover varies with absorptive capacity in medium high technology (MHT) sectors, while negative effects are observed in medium low technology (MLT) and low technology (LT)

  • Productivity convergence between contriens and regions has been extensively studied with mixed results. Much of this litetature focuses on the macro-level data. This study uses Vietnam's annual enterprise survey data from 2000 to 2013 and a varying coefficient stochastic technology frontier framework to assess convergence among the manufacturing firms.
