This study aims to investigate the
challenges faced by English-majored students at Thang Long University in the
Speaking 1 course and their underlying causes, offering insights for pedagogical
improvement. Conducted over two months, the research targeted English-majored
students and instructors of the Speaking 1 course at Thang Long University,
employing a mixed-methods design.
