This research paper investigates the perceptions of first-year English majors at
Thang Long University (TLU) regarding the practice of English speaking through the
shadowing technique. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, the study combines
quantitative data from a structured questionnaire with qualitative insights from in-depth
interviews.
