Abstract

We note several changes and additions to this new edition:Expanded and revised the discussion in Chapter 1 on the broad application of Logistics and Supply Chain Management to include other applications beyond just the movement of goods. Updated the discussion on Information Technology in Chapter 2 to provide a broad derspective of the impacts of technology on modern supply chain practice. Updated sections on technology in subsequent application-specific chapters. Added discussion on how consumer and technology disruptors have and will continue to impactLogistics and Supply Chain Management.
