The study's background includes rationale, purpose, scope,
research methods, design, and significance. Definition and importance of paragraph writing, the
importance of paragraph writing skill development, the factors affecting writing skill
development and the previous studies. Combination of the two methods – quantitative and
qualitative research with necessary variables, instruments and materials (e.g., factors
assessments, writing tasks) and data collection progress. Presentation of the findings regarding the factors
and paragraph writing skill development (illustrations, statistical analyses, participant
characteristics) and discussion. Summary of the findings, research’s limitations and suggestions.
